Predecessor Builds > GRIM.exe > Grim as it should be
This is for me the best value for grim, MAGICAL DAMAGE.
If you're facing a classic cc midlaner (gideon, howitzer, fey, gadget), this should run no problem as long as you keep distance and hit a few balls while doing waves. If you are against wraith or morigesh instead, they can damage you pretty well if you are not skilled with your shield, so I suggest to play more safely and pay attention to not push yourself too much. Always try to not make your opponent retire by landing balls, as they have a great distance and damage, if needed you can throw your ulti after the ball to gain the passive buff and deal additional damage and eventually kill the enemy.
I recommend to always start with prophecy, as it is a great boost to your early atk speed and it gives you additional magical damage to basic attacks.
Once you unlock magnify, remember to cast your Q after three basic attacks, as it greatly amplifies damage.
Grim is a great wave clearer early game, so if you have the opportunity go help your offlane or duo if they are struggling.
Remember to never use the ultimate in combat unless you are 100% sure to land the kill.
Typhoon is always my go to crest as it boosts you atk speed and gives mobility, but if you are feeling confident you can go with obelisk to boost your damage.
Same thing for wraith's boots, you can swap them with world breaker to have more late game damage.
Hope this is useful and go land som ults ;)
