Revenant - The Smite Shooter

Revenant is a burst damage hero who excels in dealing large amounts of damage in a short period.
His skills and build are designed to maximize critical hits and control the battlefield.

Revenant’s Abilities:

Bounty Hunter (Passive):

  • Revenant receives extra gold for each hero elimination. Additionally, for every 10% critical chance, he gains +0.5% additional physical damage.
  • Why Important: This passive accelerates his growth and increases his critical damage. Building items that enhance critical chance, such as Nuclear Rounds, maximizes his physical damage thanks to this passive.

Hand Cannon (LMB):

  • Revenant uses a revolver with four bullets. After firing all shots, he must reload. Each shot deals damage based on bonus AD.
  • Why Important: This skill requires precise positioning and maximization of critical damage, making items like Vanquisher and Imperator crucial in building Revenant.

Hellfire Rounds (RMB):

  • Revenant can instantly reload the revolver regardless of the number of shots fired.
  • Why Important: This ability allows him to quickly return to combat after a few shots, increasing his damage output in crucial moments.

Obliterate (Q):

  • Revenant fires a series of projectiles that automatically hit the nearest targets, dealing damage based on his AD.
  • Why Important: This skill works perfectly with items like Vanquisher, allowing for rapid and substantial damage to enemies with low health.

Scar (E):

  • Revenant marks the target, and his subsequent shots deal increased damage and slow the opponent.
  • Why Important: The slow effect from Scar (E) increases battlefield control and allows Revenant to keep enemies within his attack range.

Reckoning (R) – Ultimate:

  • Revenant transports himself and the enemy to another dimension where they fight 1v1. After the transfer, the enemy is briefly rooted. Additionally, if you use this ability under a turret, the turret does not deal damage to Revenant, which can be used to gain an advantage.
  • Why Important: This ultimate allows for isolating the opponent in a 1v1 situation and offers a strategy under turrets where Revenant can gain an advantage without taking turret damage.

Item Build for Revenant:

Vanquisher

  • Description: Provides critical damage and an execution effect that deals extra damage when the enemy's health drops below a certain threshold.
  • Why Important: In the early game, Vanquisher synergizes with Obliterate (Q), allowing for quick eliminations of low-health opponents.

Imperator

  • Description: Increases critical hit chance and damage dealt from critical hits.
  • Why Important: Maximizes critical damage, giving Revenant a strong advantage in eliminating opponents early in the game.

Demolisher

  • Description: Provides extra damage and ignores a portion of the enemy's armor.
  • Why Important: Helps to bypass part of the enemy's armor, which is useful in the mid-game when opponents start building armor.

Terminus

  • Description: Increases critical damage and grants a shield after each critical hit.
  • Why Important: The shield provided by Terminus increases Revenant's survivability, which is crucial in the late game.

Equinox

  • Description: Increases critical damage and provides cooldown reduction.
  • Why Important: Cooldown reduction on skills allows Revenant to deal more damage faster.

Nuclear Rounds

  • Description: Increases critical damage and additionally pierces through enemy armor.
  • Why Important: Each additional percent of critical chance increases Revenant’s physical damage, making this item crucial after the fifth item.

Summary:

Revenant is a burst damage hero who excels in dealing large critical hits and bypassing enemy armor.
His build focuses on maximizing critical hits, allowing for quick eliminations of enemies.

  • Early Game: Vanquisher and Imperator provide strong burst damage.
  • Mid Game: Demolisher and Terminus increase survivability and effectiveness against tanks.
  • Late Game: Equinox and Nuclear Rounds maximize damage and armor-piercing capabilities, allowing for the elimination of key targets in team fights.

Additionally, Scar (E), which slows enemies, and Reckoning (R), which provides rooting and turret immunity, enhance battlefield control and strategic advantage at different stages of the game.
