Predecessor Builds > Wraith > Wraith Support is viable

Here's my thought pattern on this. You need mana early, that's the mindrazor first every time. That's the extra mana pool you need until you scale later. Penumbra is next, this allows you to spam any abilities in lane, also giving you a bit of health. The rest of the build focuses crit, but there are multiple routes. If you are against tanky heroes you go death stalker into demolisher. Otherwise we build towards imperator, only difference is if you are against large heals on the other team you sub in tainted rounds.

If you go to the later stretches of the game, you can replace mindrazor with almost any crit/Phyisical power item that doesn't require minion kills.
