I'll keep this guide updated for every patch and with insights from the community. Let's dive in!
First Build: New to Shinbi? Wanna have fun and learn the champ? Here's the best build. Deal damage with abilities and autoattacks, good waveclear, steal enemy jungle camps easy. The Gameplay feels very smooth.
- Easy to Play
- Feels very smooth
- Better backports you can always buy cheap items
Tankabuser: It's essentially the same as the first build, but with Oathkeeper replaced by Megacosm. Also the Build other is not the same.
- Easy to Play
- Feels very smooth
- Good early Mana
Jungle: Switching Wraith Leggings for Prophecy can work great if you prefer an attack speed build. But why Wraith Leggings in the jungle? With Obelisk, you'll deal more ability damage, and the movement speed boost is perfect for ganking. Also, consider swapping Oathkeeper for Megacosm if facing two or more tanks on the enemy team.
- Remember to stack Obelisk
- Swap Wraith Leggings for Prophecy if you want more attack speed in your playstyle
- Change Oathkeeper for Megacosm if enemies have Tanks
- Tainted Scepter is also good if you play vs a lot of Heal Champions and your Team don't buy Antiheal
Midlane Mana Build: This build leans towards a more passive playstyle, focusing on scaling and poking enemies with Q. While it can work, personally, I believe there are better champions suited for this style. However, if you're new to assassins or feeling unsure, it's a decent way to get your first experience with Shinbi.
- Easy to Play
- Good backports you can always buy cheap items
- Beginner friendly
Dominating Tanks: You know Shinbi? No attack speed, still fun. Understand damage and matchups? Got a build. Why Obelisk? Magic pen, also you stack it at Minions since your kill Pressure is not so high.
- High Damage Build
- Need some Shinbi understanding
- Big Powerspike at 3 Items
Oneshoot Carrys: If the enemy team lacks tanks, and you've mastered your combo, plus you've got some Shinbi experience under your belt, then this build is for you. Get ready to unleash tons of damage and feel like a Demon.
- High Damage Build
- Need some Shinbi understanding
- Mana hungry
- Best Build to feel like a Demon
Shinbi Tricks and Tips You Should Know
- R [All Kill] stacks up to 8 and lasts 8 seconds before resetting
- Q [Line Tempo]: grants 1 stack
- E [Circle Rhythm]: can stack up to 4 times
- RMK [Rushing Beat]: grants 1 stack; recastable within 3 seconds without mana cost
- Passive [Biting Melody]: Deals 10 + 15% magic damage on-hit. Every 15 seconds, damage is 4x. Each ability hit reduces cooldown by 1 second.
Matchups
Zarus: Hard
- Outdamage you in early game
- Outpoke you in early game
- better sustain
How to Win
- keep farming (only last hit) with Q spell, trade hp only when Passiv is up
- you need more than ultimate to kill Zarus, you need 2 timing if you want to play for the kill, so one time when all of your kit, second time with the same and ultimate
- yeah clearly possible, you just need some scaling and burst for good all in
- Golem gift (item is broken) lot of armor and ap, oathkeeper for some burst after spell + obelisk or tempest, good synergie; (obelisk is for rly good scaling)
and one good tip kinda obvious, you need to dodge the q spell of zarus with your dash its mandatory in 1v1, you will need to hit several q spell before all in, so you take some hp off and stack ultimate
