Notes

Time management is extremely valuable for junglers, especially for Sev.
Use the Hunt item strategically, not just because it is available.
Unless you are absolutely needed for a gank before level 5, back after each Jungle clear for items.

So you still want to gank at 3mins...
Sevarog is NOT reliable for early-game ganks. He is squishy before levels 5-6
If your Mid or Offlane are getting bullied HARD, you need to decide if it is worth investing your time to help.
If your Offlaner dies before 3mins, you may need to show some presence in the lane....and prepare for a long match.

If your core is Dawn side, start reading below
If your core is Dusk side, skip to START: Dusk Core

START: Dawn Core

  1. Clear Red Buff
  2. Clear 2-stack camp near mid: This allows you to be available for mid in case they are in trouble early.
  3. Rotate to the 5-stack camp by traversing the river while dropping a ward for your midlaner
  4. Clear the 5-stack minion camp and back.

ESSENTIAL: Change your ward to SENTRY
Start building towards Tainted Guard by purchasing Tunics and Horned Plate
If your first clear was ideal, you will have 950g and you can skip the Tunics because what you really want from Horned Plate is:
Blighted Skin: "When hit by a basic attack, reduce the Source's healing by 20% for 3s."
This could be a game-changer for early-game ganks.

  1. Travel to the Blue jungle
  2. Clear 5-tack minion camp first
  3. Clear Blue buff
  4. Coordinate with ADC/Support for gank or Raptor

If your team goes for either, proc your SENTRY to clear wards from Raptor and River by ADC

If you aren't ganking, go for the 3-stack minion camp
Afterward, patrol the river with SENTRY from the ADC lane to mid, clearing wards
Back and get the next items.
If your second clear went well, you should be able to purchase Violet Brooch.
If it didn't, you should be able to afford one or two Vitality Beads.

Clear red again and this time hit the 5-stack minion camp first.
Check if Offlane needs help securing the Green buff,
If they don't, use SENTRY to clear the right side river as you head to the 2-stack minion camp
While doing so, coordinate with Midlaner to see if they need help.
If nothing pans out helping lanes, you should be able to back and get the first Tier 3 item - Tainted Guard.

START: Dusk Core

You will not see this strategy in many builds and, admittedly, it is still a work in progress.
Kiting camps will be essential here and, without the boost from Red to start off, you will be extra squishy by the end of this clear.
However, starting on this side of the map means that when you rotate and get Red, it can be used for a gank.

  1. Clear the 5-stack camp
  2. Clear the blue buff
  3. Clear the 3-stack camp
  4. Ward River Buff
  5. Back for items

ESSENTIAL: Change your ward to SENTRY
Start building towards Tainted Guard by purchasing Tunics and Horned Plate
If your first clear was ideal, you will have 950g. In that case, skip directly to Horned Plate for its perk:
Blighted Skin: "When hit by a basic attack, reduce the Source's healing by 20% for 3s."

This could be a game-changer for early-game ganks.

  1. Travel to Red Jungle
  2. Kill Red Buff
  3. Coordinate with ADC/Support for gank or Raptor
  4. Kill two-stack minion camp
  5. Travel river to 5-stack camp, using SENTRY to clear wards

Global STRATEGY (Dawn or Dusk Core)

Continue the rotations, strategically clearing camps and backing while coordinating with the team.
Depending on how the game is going and what your opponents are building, you should build a defense with :
Unbroken Will (Magic Armor) or StoneWall (Basic Armor)
The differences in their other traits are not that impactful.

Evolving the Titan Crest

Saphir's Mantle has an Active that is actually pretty awesome with Sevarog.
While he does grow big and scary-errr, the real gem lies in:
"permanently increase your maximum health equal to 20% of the damage dealt when triggered the active.
So trigger that active as much as possible and DO DAMAGE for more health!

Late Game - You are a green bar machine!

Tainted Scepter - Add blight to your spells
World Breaker - Maya perk: "Gain bonus magical power equal to 2% of your Max Health"

If you time your clears, get your stacks, and coordinate with your team, this could be a real snowball build.
Good luck!
