Early on only use E for high value exchanges like hitting the entire wave + 1 enemy or hitting both enemies. Avoid harassment and only go for trades that benefit you. How far you can push up in lane depends on whether the enemy support is melee or ranged. Typically you always want to harass the enemy carry rather than support. Don't spam or you will be oom. you can only q in and do a full combo two or three times (less than than if you spam e mindlessly), so make them count. Ba dum tiss.
