Build

Important: don't finish Azure Core early

  • Only get Alchemical Rod early. Finish it after your last item
  • Soulbearer: Fey has the biggest ult combo, this keeps her alive to use it and to lifesteal a lot from it
  • You come online early-midgame, you'll get Alchemical Rod stacked around the time you finish Megacosm #### Utility Items
  • Caustica and Azure Core can be swapped for utility items, but I usually keep Azure

Pro gamer montage 💯💯😂

Skill Order A: R>RMB>E>Q

  • Easy, consistent
  • RMB is a strong combo with the ult, and your passive spawns another if you get a kill/assist - if an enemy is low, they're a bomb for the rest.
  • Focusing on waveclear has a few benefits:
    • Early pushing hard lets you trade autos/E with the minion advantage. Finish the ranged minions first with autos.
    • Your wave is left as homework for the enemy mid, while you get river buffs and roam with your ult
    • Can safely farm from near tower if pressured by ganks

Skill Order B: R>E>RMB>Q

  • Harder as it relies on landing E, but amazing singletarget damage, higher potential
  • For harassing or assassinating the enemy mid, especially big or slow opponents like Howi/Argus, or junglers like Rampage
  • Lets you 1v1 anyone at range, you can gank without your ult, and punish enemy ganks

Guide/Tips

RMB

  • Q's slow helps keep enemies in it, especially in tight corridors
  • Good for zoning by putting it in people's path, or on yourself against melees for peeling or trading
  • Even a few ticks can be good damage, because of Megacosm and Oblivion Crown

Q

  • Q lasts for 5 seconds, and deals the same damage whether you landed it or they walked into it.
  • Q goes through walls and up ledges
    • Snipe the river buff from the bottom of the stairs
    • Help do Fang/Prime by throwing RMB and Q without being inside the pit
    • Chase and poke by laying a Q as an enemy rounds a corner
  • When running, you'll usually put it on the enemy's path to you, but if they'll reach you and melee, put it on your escape route and run through it
  • Can put below river buff and it'll die instantly when it spawns, or earlygame it'll take 1 auto

E

  • Use for minion lasthits if you'll miss any otherwise, that also refunds mana
  • Your other abilities help you land E. R guarantees a hit, Q slows, RMB zones making their movement predictable

R

  • The combo is RMB>R>Q>E, but if there's a short opportunity or you're in danger, R before RMB
  • Doesn't latch to targets >2m in the air, so don't try to bring Gideon down.
    • but after latching, it'll pull targets down even if they went airborne, so grounded Kallaris and Howies are fine
  • Vine breaks if the enemy gets far enough before the pull. So if an enemy has blink or mobility, try to get them in the ult's center
  • Vine breaks if it touches a wall (enemy breaks line of sight). So be careful with ulting near corners
  • Vine breaks if Countess exists. I hate her.
