Crests

Saphir's Mantle is perfect for a defensive, high health Sevarog build. This is his Best In Slot for 90% of situations.
Razorback is a great alternative for a little more offense against attack speed heroes, but does sacrifice some health to afford this.

Core build

The 3 items in the Core build are essential, the rest of the items after that are situational and dependent on the way the match is going and what you're up against.. but why?

Fireblossom gives us a little clear and some physical armor.
World Breaker takes all our bonus health and converts some of it to magical damage for us, this is our best form of magical damage from 1 item.
Flux Matrix gives a little magical armor, but increases Fireblossom's effectiveness and synergizes well.

Notes on how to play Sevarog

As a jungler, his weakest point is the start of the game. Sev is a late game monster and is highly dependent on getting soul stacks with his Q as soon as possible, so his first 15m in-game is crucial.

For me, currently, I focus 100% of my attention on farming my jungle minions for stacks until I'm level 6. I still focus on building my stacks but I'm still cautious because it's likely we won't have the damage or armor needed to solo anyone down without help.

I still highly prioritize getting stacks until I hit 80 stacks; the faster you can do this the better off you are, full stop. Sev's threat comes from his skill in stacking souls.

After ~80 souls, you'll start to flourish more. Stacking will be easier, and you'll be able (with the build) to be able to dish a little and take a lot of damage. you will never be a substantial damage dealer, but will almost certainly be able to out-live most engagements and have a good chance of making it out alive. Set your team up for success!
