Starting options

  • Witchstalker
  • Iceskorns

I usually go Witchstalker if enemy comp has heavy CC (Riktor, Gideon, Dekker, Belica, Rampage, etc.), otherwise Iceskorns bc of lower CD and 1v1 potential.
FYI: U can walk out of Gideon Ult with the Witchstalker Cleanse btw.

First Item

  • Witchstalker goes into Mutilator
  • Iceskorns goes into Augmentation

Augmentation gives a pretty good power spike early on, while Mutilator gives you good sustain while farming camps.
It is possible to go Witchstalker into Mutilator and Augmentation instead of Tainted Guard, but with this variant you are pretty squishy.

Second Item

  • Tainted Guard

Tainted Guard gives you Ability CD Reduction and apply Bleed, which helps with clearing your camps. Factoring in the Anti-Heal, Tainted Guard is a really good choice for crunch.

Third Item

  • Giant's Ring
  • Unbroken Will
  • Tainted Bastion
  • Citadel

Usually you wanna go Giant's Ring into Unbroken Will, but there are some alternatives depending on the enemy comp and your situation.
If enemy comp is heavy on CC, you might wanna consider going Unbroken Will first into Giant's Ring.
Double Anti-Heal might be on the table, if the enemy comp has a Countes for example. Then you go Tainted Bastion into Giant's Ring.
Another option might be going Citadel, but only if your team is doing well and you are snowballing. (Not recommended for beginners)

Fourth Item

  • Giant's Ring
  • Unbroken Will

If you don't have Giant's Ring, get it now. Otherwise, you can go Unbroken Will for Magical Armor and Tenacity or, depending on enemy comp, another Magical Defense Item.

Fifth Item

  • Citadel
  • Frostguard
  • Stone Wall
  • Giant's Ring

Usually your choice on the fifth item is Citadel, but if you swapped it in third position, you want to go Giant's Ring.
Frostguard is just a solid choice in general, and Stone Wall is also good against a physical damage heavy comp.

A little tip for jungle in general: Switch your settings of Smite to instant, instead of default :)
