Try to back for Potent Staff if possible for a big-ish early power spike otherwise not much to say.
Take Epoch instead of Soul if you need to or if you just want more damage. If you don't face any big healing heroes take Wraith to go (reasonably) zooming when using abilities or take Timewarp if you want abilities up a little faster, but honestly, I don't see any big difference when taking it. You could take
Magnify and Tempest if you so choose but haven't tested that out.
