This build gives Riktor absurd tankiness and attack bulk. If you don't mind being a brainless meat shield, you aren't going to get more beefy than this. If they don't stack magic armor, you can drop vanguardian. I find that item great for teams with normal amount of magic damage. On a magic damage heavy team, I'd drop fireblossom or Tainted Armguards if they don't have a rampant healer, for a item with magic armor. This is obviously rare.
You don't really need brimstone if you take elafrost and frosted lure. Paired with tainted armor and some hp regen tanking and basicing down a minion wave or even jungle minions doesn't take long.
The key to this build is to stick to enemies. With multiple forms of slow and the tankiness, around midgame, now one will escape you. At some point even adcs can't burst you down if you stick with them. I've been able to kill enemies higher level than me by just sticking to them and letting the passive procs wear them out. You can definitely outlast people that might underestimate you. This build also works in offlane but pick a mobile crest.
