Max out your RMB (untamed growth) until level 3 for wave clear then look to roam and max out E (harvest nettles) for trades and high damage output. Late game fey needs E maxed for late game damage output. When looking to use your ultimate, place RMB down then your ult so the enemies are cought in the explosion at the end of the RMB which does more damage.
Core Item breakdown:
-Wizard crest into Epoch: most useful in my opinion but soulbearer may be more your style.
-Megacosm: good first item for manna, cool down and damage. Fey looks for prolonged trades in some interactions so I prefer this over combustion.
-Time Warp: fey needs manna Regen in order to roam and clear waves. Other items here will work okay but you will see your manna bar drain
-Wraith Leggings: zoomies for chasing and kiting enemies while you dish out damage. Helps prolong trades in your favor. With this you can chase the duo and offline ganks as well as deal damage as you backpedal away from ganks if you can avoid the CC. I see this as an essential item on fey since she has no escape abilities like other midlanders and midlane is ganked a lot.
-Oblivion Crown. I usually build this as 5th item or sooner if I'm really ahead the damage it provides is amazing on fey. You will carry games if you get this online soon enough.
Flex items:
-Golem's Gift: useful against ADC mid or if their carry is doing very well
-Tainted Totem: please use this item. It's anti heal is essential against khaimera, grux, narbash, phase and other heroes building healing items. It is a fantastic item with good damage, cheap on gold cost and good stats giving health damage and cold down reduction
-Noxia: provides good damage and cool down reduction. The passive enables follow up abilities to deal more damage.
-Caustica: good magical penetration as well as manna regen. Build against tanky team or if you are struggling with manna
-Spellbreaker: I only use this item if the enemy team has a professional Riktor landing hook after hook. The passive gives a shield that will block 1 ability while active and increases you damage while the shield is up. You will need to play safe to keep the shield up.
