Items: Build Chalice and then Rod first. Finish Mindrazor before finishing Resolution. Final two slots are flex - Combustion and Megacosm make the grenade shred minions, monsters and players from complete safety. If you find yourself against a very mobile team that you need the extra speed for, don't sneer at 6 being just for evasion. It is valuable to take attention away from your team and force responses... just don't die in the process!

Strategy: Practice angles for bouncing and get the grenade to explode directly above the wave when the minions clump - usually ONE grenade after Mindrazor is enough to take out most of it if you hit it right, otherwise two at safe range is still great for farm. The Mindrazor blast triggers on each minion hit by the grenade. Forget anyone trying to push into you without Prime buff. Grenade is amazing for safe wave clear but your twinblast shots will start doing silly damage when you finish Mindrazor. One of those will clear most waves with a basic or two afterward. It pierces, so line up the shot with as many minions as you can (and enemy laner) and watch everything take 600 damage. You are bursty and long range, most other carrys should be able to be shredded safely (watch out for Sparrow ult, Grim ult + Bombs and a magic burst Revenant). Play safe, play smart, rotate mid if you need to and take the enemy blue as often as you can. You are weakest early - late you shouldn't need to approach people unless you want to, or with a triple wave ahead of you crashing their towers. Time your push right for the dragon fight and you can usually take Outer/Inner tower, sometimes an inhib. Your pushing power and mobility are nuts - push a huge wave in and then flee to safety. Make it so someone has to guard lane at all times or they lose. If they try to 5v4 your team, push harder! Pay very close attention to the mini map and just retreat if you are about to be teamed up on and can't be safe under tower. Your grenades can fire from inner tower down to outer tower on the side lanes at the right angles. Make sure to pop jump flowers below inner tower jungle windows - nothing is worse than three people tower diving from that side. You can usually stand safely behind towers to defend.

Early Game: Be safe. Farm. Help your jungler gank and leash red ruff. Try to take enemy blue if safe! 700 gp for Chalice. 1150 for Rod. Those are big breakpoints. Go back often if you are super pushed up and the enemy laner backs. Try to safely take XP buff or launch an ult at it from far away. Otherwise, its not a big deal to lose one or two as long as you keep up your farm and don't get killed stupidly.
MidGame: Be safe. Farm. Push. Farm enemy blue and three camp if possible. If your jungler isn't behind, farm the 5 camp too (but leave it for a Sevarog!). Help protect mid if you are super pushed up.
Late Game: Scale! Be safe. *** Split push. *** Defend your entire base if you need to - honestly, you can stand on the steps to the core and grenade waves at all three inhibs. Can solo Big Dragon and Orb Prime if the timing stacks up right (22~ to 36~ clear, so not the fastest but can do all damage from very safe range). Support team fights with as many bombs as possible, don't get caught by enemy mages/ambushers in team fights.
Other Scenarios: This also works great in bot lane if you have a support that is also long range/pokey or even play from behind and have your support help offlane/midlane/leash jungler on buffs since you can farm relatively safely. That split and farm strategy works best NOT into Dekker or Riktor. Enemy laner will get farm as well, but they will have no targets to kill and as soon as they rotate you push into their tower. If they stay gone too long - get to their core and win! Don't be afraid to retreat when your wave pushes forward. You are no good to anyone dead.

Alternate 6: Mobility! (does tank top end damage thresholds)
Alternate 1st full item - build Chalice then Soulbinder then build Rod and Mindrazor. Finish Resolution and build Combustion as normal
