I've been enjoying:

• Alchemical Rod → finish Azure Core as 2nd Item
• Megacosm = %Max HP DoT for the beefy bois, and MP + Mana for Azure Core
• Lifebinder = Sustain and free healing on R or E, plus a tiny bit of beefyness.
• Elafrost = More slows to trigger lifebinder and kite dangerous enemies, plus occasionally a %Max Mana damage dealing root.
• Flex item:
  • Spellshield
  • Oblivion Crown
  • Tainted Scepter
  • Spellslinger = up to +12% MP on top of Mana, Haste, and a nice mana refund
  • Caustica = %Magic Pen and crazy piles of mana regen.
