Notes

With Big Booty Aurora the name of the game is getting as tanky as possible while also doing as much AoE damage as possible. The build relies on building items like World Breaker which give us MP as our health goes up and items like Fire Blossom to increase our already solid passive AoE damage. With this build Aurora's main role is initiator. She should be starting fights and using her ability to slow and contain to keep the enemy team in the team fight. You probably won't pop off and get double digit kills with this build but you can and will turn team fights in your team's favor.

Some good pairings for support Aurora include (for both carry and non-carry roles):
- Kira: Kira's kit can pair well with Aurora as they both have slows and Kira's ult being AoE can get a huge boost of damage as Aurora's kit is devoted to keeping enemies close by
- Gadget: A significant amount of Gadget's kit is devoted to AoE damage and as such Aurora's ability to contain and slow an enemy team can easily create scenarios for Gadget to do massive amounts of persistent damage.

The four core items of the build are:

  • World Breaker to give us MP scaling off of health
  • Flux Matrix to debuff enemies while we are nearby
  • Fire Blossom to add to our passive AoE damage as well as help us get tankier
  • Elafrost for an on hit slow as well as to help us get tankier

For the remaining two items in the build you can go a lot of directions. I've chosen Magnify and Caustica as these are your "win-more" items. If you and your duo are already dominating your lane and your team is doing well overall these items will help increase your passive damage and help you do more damage during team fights however there are many other suitable choices here. One good option is Dreambinder as it gives a slightly better slow than Elafrost. Another good option for maximizing AoE damage is Overlord. At the end of the day the best items for the build largely depend on the enemy team's composition as well as how your lane and team are doing. Support Aurora as an initiator relies on her ability to tank damage and slow enemies building against the enemy's team damage can be important. In the case of losing your lane early or facing a heavy physical damage team, look to build tankier items early and to build items with a combination or Health/Physical Armor.
