Iggy farms waves super quicly with E --> RMB dose a absolute tone of damage. But he suffers from getting jumped and gets punished for poor positioning. This build is a lot tankier than most midlane build to help stay alive and grow.
So, I really like and would recommend playing very safe till you get your first couple of items. That means stay on your side of the river nearish your turrets. Ward before you jump down for River Buff. Try to keep track of where the enemy jungler is.
After you have a some items strapped to your hog start shoving waves at the opposing tower. Then use that "downtime" to help team get objectives or help out other lanes.
