The Lovecraftian Microwave

Riktor is one of the best supports out there. He's tanky, oppressive, and his presence strikes fear into the hearts of his opposing lane. However, with great power comes a great skill cap. He's not the easiest support to play, but if you master those hooks then you will be feared. Sometimes, you don't even have to use the hook, just whip out that belt and walk forward and they will back off.

Here's your Strat

Start with your Hook, then your silence, then your microwave. Work towards maxing your hook first for the cooldown reduction. Then your Microwave to keep them cooking while your carry Slap Chops them like Vince. Use your big, sexy, industrial-grade frame to body block for your carry in the laning phase if they need it. Once you get your ult, you can pull them in with a hook then immediately ult. Or, save it for later and walk up to them and use it, up to you. Help get your carry ahead by granting them kills and you will be remembered in the annals of microwave history.

Use that silence to turn the beep on your opponents' microwave off. Let's face it no one wants to hear it. But seriously, the silence is mean. Gideon ulting you at eye level? NOPE. Kira beyblading in your vicinity? SHH. Countess about to drain your carry? GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERE.

The Build

Riktor really does not need a ton of items to make himself useful because his abilities are so devastating if you can land them. Cooldown is key. The more often you can get that hook and silence off the more helpful you are to your team. There's tons of ways to build Riktor, so I won't get too much into details about the items. But I would aim for a nice split of tanky and support items. Make yourself indestructible and use items that slow your opponents and buff your team.

I put Fire Blossom as a flex item on this build because more likely than not I'd be stealing CS from my carry as support. It might be helpful in late game, like third or fourth item, but if your carry gets ahead you don't need it
